Sims Skills University (Suturing Course)

Simple interrupted suture technique is an effective and accurate method of wound closure. It is effective in skin edge apposition and wound aversion and allows for minimal drainage. Learners will perform active hands-on suturing skills on digitalized patients with return demonstration and complete test activities to improve their clinical knowledge. The software provides feedback on suturing skills correctly performed or provides reteaching if incorrectly done. Students will have ample opportunity to practice each clinical skill to gain complete mastery.
